The perfect way to cap off Earth day. Photographer Rachel Sussman has spent the last decade documenting the oldest living things in the world, some of which have already disappeared since she photographed them. http://petapixel.com/2014/04/22/photographer-documents-oldest-things-earth-fascinating-series-turned-book/

Our Mother Earth is strong and ever-changing.
So, these were the sketches I was debating about putting up. The main reason is because these, were really outside of my comfort zone. I never really draw anything containing actual nudity, and I got nervous about putting these up, especially with a connection online to so many friends. But these sketches are inspired by my World Mythology class, Yesterday, we began studying the archetype of the goddess, and how at one point, goddesses were the main deities worshiped before humanity became male dominated, and how it was actually a really peaceful time. And we talked about their connection to the creation of all things living, which then began to inspire me for some sketches, which these became. I also found these fitting considering today is Earth Day. So I hope this step outside my usual work is okay.
